Millions of immigrant and diaspora community members every month use our platform to send money home for free or almost free. For too long, we've received less than our fair share - our fair share of federal funding, our fair share of critical resources, and our fair share of a say in DC. Standing firmly on that floor there is no ceiling to what we can accomplish as individuals, as a district, or as a nation. \r\nFrom more community schools to closer emergency medical care, safer streets to more reliable public transit, we're a long way from that goal today. We can't keep electing the same people year after year, decade after decade, and expect different results. New leadership, with a fresh perspective, and more robust representation is desperately needed.</li><li>Affordability is a key concern in our neighborhood - but the cost of the things we need is only half of the equation. We also need to be investing in the types of growth and innovation that will provide high-quality, well-paying, AI-proof employment for our community today and our children tomorrow. From free access to vocational schools - helping fill the shortage of skilled labor we need - to expanded small business financial support and constructive engagement with \"next-gen\" industries, we can provide a better, brighter, more rewarding future for NY-9.</li><li>NY-9 is one of the most diverse districts in the United States.
