About

Political energy becomes useful only when attention is pointed at a specific action.

The Issues Party is a civic action platform for the 2026 midterms — built to turn passive political awareness into direct, accountable civic signal.

What we do

We build Candidate Hubs — accountability surfaces for every candidate in the 2026 midterms. Each hub tracks a candidate's record on five Public Interest Commitments: issues where voters deserve a clear answer before election day.

When candidates commit, they get a visible approval signal. When they don't answer, they accumulate public pressure. That's the game theory.

Public Interest Commitments

Five accountability asks — issues where we believe voters deserve a clear answer before handing anyone power.

1
Universal Healthcare
Care without medical bankruptcy.
2
Data Bill of Rights
Access, move, delete, encrypt and delegate your data.
3
Congressional Stock Trading Ban
No trading on the people's trust.
4
Citizens United Reform
Reduce corporate and election-money distortion.
5
War-Crime Accountability
Mandatory review, reporting and support restrictions.

How it works

1
Find your races
Search by ZIP, state or candidate name. Every House, Senate and gubernatorial race in 2026 is tracked.
2
Follow Candidate Hubs
Each candidate has a hub showing their Issues Ledger status, bio, funding signals and accountability record.
3
Ping candidates
Push for a public answer on any commitment. Your ping is recorded and contributes to public pressure.
4
Action Windows — coming soon
One-hour coordinated windows where followers act together: ask questions, share sources, request commitments.

Data sources

All candidate and race data is sourced from public records and attributed per section. We do not blend sources without labels.

The Issues Party is not affiliated with any political party, campaign or candidate. We do not endorse candidates. Status labels on Candidate Hubs reflect sourced public records reviewed by our editorial team — not political opinion.
