A first-generation Latina and the first in her family to go to college, Diana graduated summa cum laude with a master’s degree in education with highest honors. She built a successful career as a teacher — including as a fifth-grade teacher in the Beaumont Unified School District — dedicated to helping students succeed and strengthening our communities through quality education.
