Pat , the wife of a late World War 2 veteran told the story to me of how her husband was to meet with the incumbent Congressman Raul Ruiz. The World War 2 Veteran was determined to meet with him and went there in his wheel chair to make the appointment. However he was stood up and Ruiz sent a young woman instead in his place.
