About Earl Leroy Carter

Earl Carter (Republican Party) (also known as Buddy) is a member of the U.S. House, representing Georgia's 1st Congressional District. He assumed office on January 3, 2015. His current term ends on January 3, 2027. Carter (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Georgia. He lost in the Republican primary on May 19, 2026.
