Shaun Brown (independent) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Virginia's 2nd Congressional District. She was disqualified from the general election scheduled on November 6, 2018. A judge removed Brown from the ballot on September 5, 2018, citing dozens of fraudulent signatures on her petitions. TheVirginia Supreme Courtdenied Brown's appeal.
