I played baseball and football at Northview High School, and in 1988 I was drafted in the 11th round by the Atlanta Braves as a catcher. Although a serious shoulder injury ended my career sooner than I hoped, the discipline, teamwork, and resilience I learned on the field shaped the rest of my life. \r\n</p><p>I’m running for Congress because working families deserve leaders who will actually fight for them.
