My great-grandparents migrate from Greece to escape the violence of the World War II. My grandparents open a successful diner and bakery in New Jersey. Through college education, my parents were able to achieve economic stability that should be guaranteed to all people. I grew up believing I would inherit this American Dream.\r\n</p><p>Yet nowadays, this dream is out of reach for too many in our community. Corporations plunder the American people’s hard-earned wealth to enrich their billionaire owners and shareholders, while the average person struggles to afford basic necessities. It’s time we had a government that truly represents working people and defeats these predatory elite interests.\r\n</p>\nI have been active in politics throughout my life, believing I could contribute to fixing the systemic issues that have left to many families behind. I have been disgusted by the corruption spreading throughout our institutions. Only then can we enact the radical reforms necessary to provide all people with economic stability and civil liberty. This effort will take time and require dedicated ideological political operators who will commit their lives for a long term project. Here in 2026, we can start this project by electing democratic socialists who will simultaneously resist Trump’s tyranny, purge Washington of corrupt corporatists, and organize our local community to provide mutual aid.</li><li>There are three key policy areas of focus of our campaign's platform.\r\n<p>First is The Affordable Deal, a comprehensive package of radical structural changes to overcome cooperate power and redistribute wealth to the American people. \r\n</p><p>Second is Beating Back Fascism, a series of policies to criminal prosecute Trump administration officials for their high crimes against the people and correct the systemic failures that allowed crooks like him to rise to power. \r\n</p>\nThird is A 21st-Century Platform, a collection of forward looking policies to resolve the problems of our globalized and digital world.</li><li>People have lost face in democracy because politicians promise radical change during campaigns but continue the same broken status quo once elected to office. Though coalition building and implementing structural change does take time, there are some basic district organizing measures congressional representatives could easily implement to bring on-the-ground change yet choose not to.
