Our spending is out of control and we keep kicking the can down the road to future generations. Generations that never asked to be this far in debt.</li><li>What happened to a government of the people, by the people, for the people? I strongly beleive that fixing the following areas first will cascade down to other areas:\r\n<p>- Term limits for Congress. Elected officials should not be a lifetime appointment\r\n- US House of Representatives should move from 2 to 3 years. 2 years means they are always fundraising\r\n- US Senators should move from 6 years to 4\r\n</p>\n- Corporations are not people. They should not be able to inject massive amounts of money into our elections</li><li>In the United States, getting sick can still feel like a financial death sentence. Too many people avoid going to the doctor not because they don’t value their health, but because they worry about the bill that might follow. Some families simply cannot afford the care they need, while others fear that a serious diagnosis could mean financial ruin. At the same time, we cannot ignore that medical breakthroughs require enormous investment to develop the drugs, treatments, and technologies that help us live longer and healthier lives.
