I've worked to support causes like The Green New Deal, Medicare for All, Housing as a Human Right, LGBTQIA+ Rights, and Labor Rights for the Post Office and local workers.\r\n</p><p>I'm tired of being tired. The more I look at where the Democratic party is going, the more I see the same taglines and phrases recycled for the last 10 plus years, and a stagnation of ideas to tackle the real problems facing us. I refuse to wait another decade for the party to slowly catch up to where the people are at now. \r\n</p><p>I'm talking about common sense legislation, like making it illegal to be able to bully your workers. \r\n</p><p>I'm talking about tying a company's success to their workforce, creating laws where CEOs can only make 10 times the amount of their lowest paid worker.\r\n</p><p>I'm talking about creating government run grocery stores that are run similar to our military commissaries, where the goal of the store isn't to maximize profits but to instead keep families everywhere fed at affordable prices.\r\n</p>\nWhen I first got into politics, I door knocked for Ayanna Pressley as a barista at Diesel Cafe.
