He is married to an elementary teacher and has two teenage children. He grew up on a 210-acre cattle/crop farm in Ohio. He earned a B.S. in Technology and Industrial Arts Management from Berea College (Kentucky) and a M.S. in Technology from Purdue University. Paul has worked in both the manufacturing sector and in higher education, while also maintaining a hobby farm in Warren County Indiana. \r\nPaul is a healthy mix between a Moderate and Progressive Democrat and seeks to bring his out-of-the-box problem solving skills to Washington. His upbringing and professional career have allowed him to engage with individuals from different industries, varying religious perspectives, political viewpoints, nationalities, and more. These interactions along with his engineering and managerial background have taught him how to first listen and then work as a team to develop common sense solutions.
