I am a nerd who loves books, mathematics, and physics. I am hugely passionate about the environment in particular about pollution and climate change and its impact upon the average citizen. I believe in equality not as a vague platitude but actual equal treatment for all human beings. I believe in an increased tax on any ultra high wealth individuals and corporations to the benefit of family owned business and farms. This makes it the most important issue and must become an international imperative.</li><li>The carelessness of human life expressed by corporations whether through direct destruction of the communities they exist within or exploitation of workers through wages is unacceptable and requires intervention in the form of government regulation and expansion and empowerment of workers unions.</li><li>Education is the key to for higher wages which means more taxes. It is the key to reducing unemployment and the cost of social services. Education is the key to reducing incarceration rate and law enforcement expenditure. Every year as the world grows more connected the quality of our students matters more and more as they have to compete on a world stage.
