In Congress, I will work to support entrepreneurs, strengthen local industries, and promote policies that allow businesses to grow, create jobs, and keep our regional economy strong.</li><li>As a Ventura County resident, wildfire preparedness is part of daily life—my evacuation bag is packed and ready. Families across California’s 26th District live with the uncertainty of wildfires, from evacuation warnings to the growing challenge of finding affordable homeowners insurance. As wildfire risks increase, many families and small businesses are struggling to keep coverage. Communities need stronger support for wildfire prevention, forest management, resilient infrastructure, and rapid disaster response.
