We came here searching for freedom, and we found it—but not without sacrifice, not without hard work, and not without the values that held us together: family, freedom, and foundation.\r\n</p><p>Those values built our lives—and now, they’re under attack.\r\nI see a generation of young Vietnamese Americans who feel lost in a country that’s forgetting what made it great. I see students taught to resent the very freedoms our families risked everything for.
