Before starting elementary school, we moved to the Bay Area. I graduated from Antioch High, class of '89. For college, I was excited to receive an academic scholarship to Barnard College, the women's college at Columbia University. Following graduation, I worked for 17 years in business and IT consulting with a focus on healthcare. \r\n</p><p>In 2018, I returned to university to earn a Masters (MPA) in International &amp; European Governance. Following graduation, I worked for over a year for Democrats Abroad (under DNC) in the Global IT group. During this time, I was Co-chair of Communications for Global Women's Caucus and IT/Communications support for the LGBTQ+ Caucus. The DA worked tirelessly on GOTV efforts and support the Biden/Harris ticket. Since DA doesn't endorse contested seats, I simultaneously launched Women to Win, which promoted Democratic women running in 2020. \r\n</p><p>In late 2019, my daughter was diagnosed with a disease that leads to blindness, RP.
