I am running to reduce our citizens' tax, housing, and educational costs, to improve their earnings, and to make local infrastructure better in the Bronx and Queens. We must make a stand AGAINST far left radicalism which encourages perpetual dependency and FOR programs and tax policies that encourage the growth of young learners into young earners. We need experienced, substantive, leaders who understand the role of government and who have proven expertise internationally and domestically. Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office? Fast Start Accounts. A $25,000 tax rebate target at age 25, a return of all tax deductions (up to $25,000) taken before this date so we can clarify that our society's mission is to help young learners become young earners. Progress not protests. We need experienced leaders who can create specific policies and educate the voter base, not vain, performative, dishonest actors. We are a team. We win together. The key principle of the USA dating from 1789 is that the states surrendered their sovereignty to benefit from a mutual federal structure. This approach has worked astonishingly well, creating fantastic prosperity, compared to that of Europe which suffered intramural warfare for 150 years.\r\nWe must therefore work together, in Unity, across the states, across party lines, across age and race divides, for the common goal of creating an environment where our young people can get off to a good start. What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Federal tax policy must support our mission of growing 25 year olds who are off to a good start. We need to revamp the tax structure of the USA and the USA's relationship with northern cities which are suffering from net emigration and old age. Our federal government needs to oversee Truth in Muncipal Budgeting (TIMB - Timebomb) so our urban voters are not trapped in old dying cities with dysfunctional and dishonest budgets. Internationally we must focus on the USA's short and long term interests. Our long term interests include tying Belarus and Russia peacefully to Europe. What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign? I am the founder of the Unity Party ballot line and have co-campaigned with over a dozen local candidates who are standing up against far left radical socialism\nNote: Ballotpedia reserves the right to edit Candidate Connection survey responses. Marty's journey to your ballot didn't start in politics, and it doesn't ever include stories of him being a \"career politician.\" Instead, Marty's path to progress began on Main Street as 1 of 9 children of a Latino immigrant. He grew up learning the values of hard work, family, and practicality. Inspired by his father's journey from being the first in the family to earn a college degree and become a doctor, Marty was also determined to change his life. He pushed himself to study Economics and the bankruptcy of NYC. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Union College, a testament to his resilience and determination. After this, Marty started his career trading penny stocks and highlighting indexes in the pink sheets. Marty found success in this field but didn't see people like him represented on Wall Street, so he decided to change that and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. For over 30 years, Marty has solved complex problems and represented the United States internationally in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and domestically across the USA—notably the Global Liability Crisis, 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and the Global Financial Crisis. Marty knows what it's like to deal with complex problems as a Financial Analyst, father of 3, and grandfather of 2. He is driven by a deep commitment to his community. This commitment has been a guiding force throughout his life. Marty is ready to bring the change we need back into New York 14. Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office? A world class district deserves world class representation Practical over Radical Let us not wait another two years for the same result. What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Tax Individual's inalienable civil rights International affairs What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time? The war in Vietnam impacted all of us; I remember because my older brother got a draft number. I was 13. Our Congressman Peter Peyser eventually came out against the war and changed parties to become a Democrat. The generation gap was created then; the kids all had long hair and distrusted their leaders. We have to guard against such splits in our society — we are one team. What was your very first job? How long did you have it? I was Former United States Representative Peter A. Peyser driver to the airport. What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade? Tell us about yourself. My father emigrated to Westchester from Argentina. He and my mother raised nine of us. We were in two bedrooms on Main Street in Irvington, his medical office in the basement complete with an X-ray machine to make it easier for his patients – the ‘can do’ attitude of a first generation American. In the 1970s, New York City hit bankruptcy. Dad was astonished: how could NYC fail? This question led me to business school and from there on to representing Fortune 500 companies and regulators throughout the Southeast, the Midwest, the UK and Europe – devising innovative strategies for the US liability crisis, helping the recovery from the WTC attack and Hurricane Katrina and addressing the global financial crisis. I've lived in Europe for more than 10 years and all over the USA. Westchester has always been home. Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign.
