The key principle of the USA dating from 1789 is that the states surrendered their sovereignty to benefit from a mutual federal structure. He grew up learning the values of hard work, family, and practicality. Inspired by his father's journey from being the first in the family to earn a college degree and become a doctor, Marty was also determined to change his life. He pushed himself to study Economics and the bankruptcy of NYC. He and my mother raised nine of us.
