That decision should be ours, as well as the decision for parents regarding their children.\n</p><p><b>PUBLIC SAFETY, FUND OUR POLICE &amp; FIRE DEPARTMENT</b><br/>\nGrowing up in the cities of Chino, Chino Hills, and Ontario, Vijal Suthar never worried about her safety. In the last two years, our district has seen a rise in robbery, theft, auto break ins and violence. This is a sign that something is not right.\n</p><p>Our neighborhoods are not as safe as they once were. We need to fund the police so they can perform their duties to put and KEEP criminals behind bars and bring them to justice! Closing jails and simply giving a ‘slap on the wrist’ is not working. We NEED our neighborhoods to be safe again for us and our children!\n</p><p>What I mean by FUND OUR PROTECTORS also includes our brave Firefighters! In the recent years California has been a target for wild fires and our brave men and women have helped us combat it. With an average pay of $21/ hour to start with? THIS IS NOT ENOUGH! If we can pass legislature to pay our fast food works more, we also need to reward our brave firefighters! They work day and night to make sure we are safe and that is only fair!
