I am healthcare policy professional, community activist, Wife, Mother and concerned American Woman running to represent Marylander's 2nd Congressional District.\r\n<p>My objective is rather simple - Maryland needs a representative who knows how to deliver results and resolve the problems we are facing that affects our quality of life. I won't have the 1sr day learning curve many newly elected Representatives have since I've worker as a Congressional Staffer for common- sense Representatives Helen Bentley and Bob Ehrlich. We need to bring the next 21st Century great solutions to Congress like we did in the 20th Century with Contract with America. Insure Military readiness-deter &amp; defeat threats in the air, land, sea, space and cyberspace.</li><li>Health Care &amp; Education: I support informed Health Care Freedom and Right to Privacy when it comes to an individual well-being. Government agencies like the FDA &amp; CDC should not be mandating the shots I choose to get or as Parents what shots we choose to give our children. I believe in Parental Rights, Body Autonomy and freedom from Government mandated controls of our rights to independent controls of our lives. Schools along with Health care should not be battle grounds for politics or one's freedoms of choice. Schools should be places of learning the foundations of reading, writing and critical thinking. Healthcare needs to include mental health, early childhood educations efforts , substance abuse &amp; prescriptions cost affordability.</li><li>Inflation, Jobs and Energy Independence: Responsibly audit and balance the Federal budget to stop reckless Washington spending and curb the worst inflation in 40 years. Rethink the American workplace and policies so the 2.2 million American Women who were forced to leave the workplace due being force to make decisions between their jobs, childcare and elder care of Family Members can return to being afford to obtain their American dream as well. American should not be forced to make difficult choices between filling up their gas tanks to go work or putting food on their families tables. We need to do better. Kirkpatrick.<br/><br/>\n<p>Jeane Kirkpatrick was a scholar, diplomat, political scientist, advocate and one of the America's true experts on world politics and international affairs. I had the unique privilege to seeing Dr. Kirkpatrick's appointed as the Representative of the United States of America by President George W. Bush to the Human Rights Commission of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations during my service in Presidential Personnel on the Y2K Presidential Transition Team after the Bush vs. Gore Presidential Election.<br/><br/>\r\nDr. Kirkpatrick was a Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and Co-Founder of Empower America with former Congress Jack Kemp (R-NY), a compassionate co, big tent, conservative public policy organization.<br/><br/>\r\nI would like to follow the example of all 4 of these fierce females and mentors. These 4 women influenced <br/>\r\nme because they never stopped fighting for a just American society or allowed themselves to focus on what could go wrong but rather were educated, calculated risked takers that focused on what could go right! They all loved America even though occasionally America could break their hearts. All of these 4 women understood it may not always be easy to distinguish between democratic and totalitarian agents of change. They were authentic democratic \"revolutionaries\" whose aim was at securing governments based the consent of the governed and belief that ordinary people capable of using freedom, knowing that their own interests, could choose leaders. They all believed in a shared common public truth and acting in the best interest of the common public good. <br/><br/>\n</p>\nEach one of these 4 women understood the importance of being a freedom-loving, compassionate society. Groups that defined themselves as enemies should be treated as enemies regardless if they are \"in country\" or foreign Dictatorships. A member must be 25 years of age, a U.S. Citizen for at least 7 years and a resident of the state they wish to represent.
